Welcome to my little universe of art, inspired by beautiful destinations from my travels around the world. AWOL means "Absent Without Leave", a term used when people left their duty without being granted permission. I believe life should be lived fully, and aligned with whatever makes our hearts dance. No need to ask for anyone's permission to venture out into the world and play by your own rules.
Through AWOL, I'm bringing my travels to life, creating art that can travel with you, be shared with others, or inspire you at home. AWOL has been featured in the pages of Vogue, CondéNast Traveller, Paper Magazine, Home & Garden and Harper’s Bazaar, among others. It's walked the catwalks of Miami Swim week, and has appeared on TV shows and stages of the world. It lives in boutiques, homes, hotels and retail spaces around the globe. It's my love letter to magical destinations and unforgettable moments, a colourful celebration of the incredible beauty of the world we live in. An invitation to wander on.

About the collections
The first step in my art process is travel. I immerse myself in the sounds, colours, textures and energy of each place I visit — sketching, drawing, taking photographs and videos, collecting beach pebbles and even taking selfies with donkeys (!) along the way. I soak in all the inspiration and let it simmer. Eventually, these experiences and impressions come to life through my art. Each collection, like each place, is unique - I select and curate the mediums, colours and textures of each new artwork to best reflect the mood and vibe of each destination. The result is a personal and artful interpretation of the beautiful landscapes, moments and experiences that marked my heart.
