Over time, I've become captivated by its elegant Belle Époque architecture, distinctive rooftop signage, expressive typography and remarkable presence on the Riviera skyline. My first and most memorable impression of the French Riviera was driving along the Promenade des Anglais, mesmerized by the fresh Mediterranean air, towering palm trees and my first glimpse of the legendary Hotel Negresco. Its elegant Belle Époque façade, graceful curves, intricate architectural details and distinctive rooftop signage immediately captured my attention. As we continued west toward Cannes and Saint-Tropez, I found myself equally drawn to the striking contrast of white architecture against brilliant blue skies, palm-lined boulevards and the relaxed rhythm of life along the Mediterranean.

Years later, I was fortunate enough to live just a few streets away, with a perfect view of Le Negresco's iconic dome from my apartment. Every morning and evening, the French flag atop the hotel reflected the changing winds, becoming a quiet reminder of how lucky I was to call this extraordinary city home. Seeing the building every day only deepened my appreciation for its architecture, history and enduring presence on the Nice skyline.
