Every element somehow all fits together in an eclectic, diverse and vibrant mix of art, culture and creativity, just like MTL.

The Montreal artwork is a mix of hand drawn illustration and collage, inspired by the unique vibe pulsing through the city. In my teens and early twenties I used to come here for the nightlife, and after moving away to Asia for a few years, I stopped by for a weekend to experience it once again. Only this time I never left.

For the past 17 years Montreal was my home: the city I love, live, work and create in. This collection is dedicated to Montreal, the place I am so lucky to call home - and recently, my home away from home.

Creative Process

I created this abstract, graphic Montreal city artwork using a variety of mixed media techniques and mediums: photography, hand drawing and illustration, painting and collage. All the original components were created by hand and re-assembled onto large canvas, making a mixed media collage.

I scanned the final large abstract artwork and digitally edited the details, colour vibrancy, and contrasts, ensuring it could be reproduced into a premium quality, framed art print for your wall decor.
