Inspirations

My personal yoga and spiritual journey began in my late twenties, at a time when I was in a high pressure creative job and my spiritual health, mental and physical well-being were suffering. My intuition led me to explore yoga, and as my practice deepened, so did my need to learn it on a deeper level.

So, I mixed this new passion for wellness, health and spirituality with travel. My wanderlust led me to my first yoga teacher training course in Goa, India, where I learned that traditional yoga is not only about the physical asanas (poses), but much more focused on the mental and spiritual inner journey and a rich philosophical approach.

A few years later, I travelled to Bali, where I completed my second, more advanced yoga teacher training, and spent weeks in silent meditation, self reflection and contemplation. 

My own personal yoga and meditation practice continues, and this yoga art collection is my fusion of spirituality, yoga, zen, art and humour, where I convey in a playful and light manner some of the profound teachings that have transformed my life - in a modern and approachable style that can connect with anyone.  

I hope this yoga art series brings a touch of whimsy, wisdom and fun reminders to keep a balance between life and play, seriousness and lightness in your daily life and relationships. The slim canvas has an approximately 2cm /0.8" thick wood stretcher bar, while the thick canvas has an approximately 4cm /1.6" thick wood stretcher bar. Both options come with hanging hardware included for easy installation.

Colored edges are not supported

The canvas substrate uses a coated fabric: a blend of cotton and polyester, providing a weight of approximately 300-350gsm/110-130lb cover and a thickness of 350-400 microns, giving you a sturdy and durable product.

As a final step I photographed the final yoga artwork and digitally prepared it for printing, enhancing the contrasts, shadows and highlights, ensuring the details stay sharp and the lines crisp - making a high quality yoga art print that will elegantly enhance any wall in your home decor, personal places or office space.
