Inspired by the energy, creativity and skyline of Montreal, this design features the city's most iconic details, from STM subway arrows and cracked icy sidewalks to colourful Plateau roofs and street art featuring local legend Leonard Cohen. Every element somehow all fits together in an eclectic, diverse and vibrant mix of art, culture and creativity, just like MTL.

The Montreal artwork is a mix of hand drawn illustration and collage, inspired by the unique vibe pulsing through the city. In my teens and early twenties I used to come here for the nightlife, and after moving away to Asia for a few years, I stopped by for a weekend to experience it once again. Only this time I never left.

For the past 17 years Montreal was my home: the city I love, live, work and create in. This collection is dedicated to Montreal, the place I am so lucky to call home - and recently, my home away from home.

This urban, abstract canvas print enhances the original artwork's natural look and feel, creating a truly immersive art experience with a rich texture, depth and a timeless allure for your wall decor - a beautiful, high-quality, modern canvas art print that will bring life to any space.

Responsibly sourced wood is used for the stretcher bars, (FSC certified), ensuring a long-lasting and high-quality product.

This large canvas art print is available in two thicknesses - slim and thick - to match your preference. The slim canvas has an approximately 2cm /0.8" thick wood stretcher bar, while the thick canvas has an approximately 4cm /1.6" thick wood stretcher bar. Both options come with hanging hardware included for easy installation.

Colored edges are not supported.

The canvas substrate uses a coated fabric: a blend of cotton and polyester, providing a weight of approximately 300-350gsm/110-130lb cover and a thickness of 350-400 microns, giving you a sturdy and durable product.

A hanging kit with hanging hardware is included for easy installation.

To ensure no damage during transportation, the canvas print is shipped in protective packaging and a strong box.

I scanned the final large abstract artwork and digitally edited the details, colour vibrancy, and contrasts, ensuring it could be reproduced into a premium quality, large canvas art print for your wall decor.

Exactly what I was looking for!

I had a place for one other creation on my wall and I’ve been looking for an original piece for a moment now. When I saw how Alex beautifully merges Montreal’s iconic landmarks with a blend of architectural détails and Cohen’s portrait, I knew the place will be filled🥰. Just love it!
