Creative Process

I created this colourful sailing art print using a variety of fine arts techniques and materials. First, I drew the geometric pattern and composition using pencil on paper.

Then I used a combination of watercolours, pastels and acrylic paint on canvas to layer the colours, textures and shading of the artwork. As a final step, I photographed the original canvas and digitally fine-tuned the details and enhanced the contrasts so this art work could be beautifully transferred and reproduced as a modern travel artwork on aluminum print that is ready to hang on your wall decor.
