Inspirations

My inspiration for this city drawing were the beautiful structure and forms of the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris. We are so used to seeing this famous landmark from windows or from a straight perspective, integrated into the Paris skyline. For this artwork, I wanted to capture the height of the structure, the solidity of its base and the rounded arches that form its foundation, as well as the awe we feel when we are looking up at it.

The canvas substrate uses a coated fabric: a blend of cotton and polyester, providing a weight of approximately 300-350gsm/110-130lb cover and a thickness of 350-400 microns, giving you a sturdy and durable product.
