Inspirations

My inspiration for this city drawing was the beautiful form of the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris. We are so used to seeing this famous landmark from windows or from a straight perspective, integrated into the Paris skyline. For this artwork, I wanted to capture the height of the structure, the solidity of its base and the rounded arches that form its foundation, as well as the awe we feel when we are looking up at it.
