This earth toned, large abstract wall art on canvas was originally handcrafted through a meticulous fusion of mixed media art and design techniques: paper cutouts, painting on paper and painting on canvas, collage, and the use of positive and negative shapes, experimenting with composition and placement until a perfect tension was reached in the overall balance of shapes and textures. I photographed the final large abstract artwork, edited it digitally, fine-tuned details and prepared it for print in a way that the textures and layers of its dynamic visual tapestry would translate well into a large canvas art print.
