Care instruction for Silk Products
Our silk items will arrive wrapped in soy-ink tissue paper, inside a custom two-piece box which can be used protect or transport and your silk keepsakes when not in use. To maintain the quality and colours of your silk, we recommend storing it flat in a dark, cool place. Avoid contact with rain, water and chemicals. To clean your silks, we recommend entrusting them to a professional dry cleaner.
If you wish to smooth out creases in the silk, we have found the best way is by ironing it, after placing a thick fabric between the silk and the iron, on the appropriate fabric setting. You can also steam the fabric, if you have access to a hand-steamer.
Care Instructions for Cushion Covers and Tote bags
Machine wash on delicate cycle using cold water, and dry in a low-heat / delicate cycle to preserve the intensity and vibrancy of the colours, and the quality of the materials.
