This colourful travel art print was inspired by my sailing adventures (and misadventures) in the Mediterranean sea and the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Northern Africa, The Mediterranean Sea and Europe, navigating high and low tides, calm and stormy seas, and witnessing beautiful sunsets and sunrises along the way.

This organic composition is a sea abstraction inspired by the breathtaking shapes, seascapes and landscapes I witnessed from the sea and the ocean, sailing through endless sunrises and sunsets, with dolphins and whales keeping me company through sea-sickness, beautiful discoveries and endless horizons.

I created this abstract ocean artwork using a mixture of painting, drawing and mixed media collage: painting on canvas and paper, decoupage and collage on canvas before digitally transferring the original canvas artwork into a digital art format.

Using design software, I enhanced the sharpness of the organic lines and shapes, boosted the colour contrasts, highlights, the colour depth, richness and saturation so I could reproduce it into a superior quality art poster with a minimalist wooden hanger support.
